Money Smart Week Programs

The Federal Reserve Bank in partnership with the American Library Association offers Money Smart Week.  Money Smart Week runs from April 18-25.  It's an opportunity to brush up on finances and meet your financial goals.

To that end, SUNY-Old Westbury is offering some programs.  On Monday, April 20 from 12-1 p.m., Curt Friehs will be presenting "Meet Your Financial Dreams -  And Watch Sally Tackle Her Student Loans" in NAB (New Academic Building) rm. 1107.

On Thursday, April 23 from 12-1 p.m. we'll be showing "Your Money, Your Life".  It's a public media video featuring hip hop mogul Russell Simmons.  Again, this presentation will be in NAB (New Academic Building) rm. 1107.  These are fantastic ways to brush up on your financial literacy.  If you're getting back a tax refund, these sorts of programs can give you ideas on how to plan for the future.
