No Click Pizza App

Greetings,
Restaurants are trying new and innovative approaches to entice consumers to order food.  In the case of Domino's Pizza, they created an app for smartphones.  You simply click on the app.  No questions are asked and your favorite pizza is delivered to your door:

Isn't that something else?  Of course, it's up to consumers if they want this one touch pizza app on their smartphones.  Nonetheless, in terms of a business model, this is one way to sell some pizza.  In fact, it's interesting to see how companies are using technology to remove obstacles to placing orders.  Amazon.com has something called "Dash Buttons" which work along similar lines.  Simply push a button when you run low on laundry detergent and Amazon will send more supplies:

There was a New Yorker article that examined Amazon Dash Buttons:

A decade ago, this might have sounded like science fiction.  Today, it's very much a reality.  Until next time, catch me in the library.
