LexisNexis: A Great Source for Research

Greetings,
I use LexisNexis for a variety of searches.  Here are some of the most popular searches with LexisNexis:

1.  "Get Company Info" -This has got to be one of my favourite Lexis searches.  You can get a Hoover's profile on a company and much more.  Whether it's locating recent company news, lawsuits, or a basic company overview, you'll find quite a bit of useful information here for a large publicly traded company.

2.  "Look up a Legal Case" -This is helpful for researchers trying to locate specific cases.  It's much faster than looking up case law the old fashioned way with print resources and takes up less space as well.

3.  "Search the News" -Looking for an out-of-town newspaper?  How about news transcripts from CNN?  With LexisNexis, you can search news sources.  This is an excellent resource.  Be sure to check it out.

Until next time, catch me in the library.
