Welcome Back

Wow, I hope everyone had a great break. I spent some time in Germany. Fantastic country and the best beer I've ever had in my life too! Munich is a lot of fun. I can't say enough good things about the place. From the Deutches Museum to the beer (again:-), it was absolutely fantastic. Sorry, no pictures this time.

Wichita Public Library has some neat things coming up. Allan Tanner, a business and technology librarian at the public library recommended this:

Wichita Public Library is offering a program on resources for small businesses on Saturday, January 13 at 10:30 am at the Central Branch of Wichita Public Library in Downtown Wichita. If you own a small business or know someone who does, this might not be a bad way to locate more information. Space is limited so please call ahead to reserve a spot.

Speaking of which, Wichita Public Library is a great place. They have the most impressive collection of automotive shop manuals I've ever come across (not Chilton's, the actual ones auto mechanics use). If you need some help repairing your 1936 Packard, guess what? You're in luck! While, they don't do the actual repairs at the library and to my knowledge the access isn't always the same as for items in the general collection, some of these shop manuals are extremely valuable. The other super cool thing that the Central Branch of Wichita Public has is a copy of the world's largest book ever published. My first question: can I check it out? I don't think they let that one out either. Anyway, it's located in a glass display on the third floor. This is my best pitch for checking out the public library if you haven't done so already.

Best,
Curt
