Feed the Pig

I've been doing a little bit of reading and research on financial literacy lately.  There's a great web site, Feedthepig.org.  It's put together by the American Institute of CPAs.  The site features tips and resources to put together a financial plan.  There's also a SUNY-wide initiative for Smart Track Financial Literacy.  Whether you're a student, faculty, or staff at any SUNY campus, you can log-in and view tutorials.  They explain savings accounts, credit cards, student loans, budgeting, and more.  The skills from these tutorials can change how you approach your finances.  If you have a big financial decision coming your way, these sorts of tutorials might be a good resource to check out.  Until next time, catch me in the library.
