Erica, you are correct!

Erica,
Please drop me a line and I'll have your prize waiting for you.

Yes, Regina, Saskatchewan. It's allegedly the home of Homer Simpson among other things. Yes, they do have hail storms that can give Kansas a run for its money. The canola fields are this bright shade of yellow and flax is a beautiful shade of purple. The wheat looks just like Kansas wheat. Imagine those shades combined with a sky turned green. It was really something else. Yes, Regina, Saskatchewan. They have great food, some of the best brews around, and pro football. As far as I'm concerned, it's like you'd died and gone to heaven.

Take care,
Curt

July Library Update -

Outside it may be raining but in the library it's entertaining! Ordinarily, I'd write about beating the Kansas heat but it's been pretty nice outside lately except when it rains. A rainy day -now that's a great reason to come to the library.

Have extra books laying around? WSU Libraries accepts donations. Just take them to the circulation desk and we'll take it from there. Any questions? Looking for information on what to do in a wicked hail storm? You know who to ask.

Speaking of which, I got caught in another freak hail storm. That was insane. My time spent in the land formerly known as Pile O' Bones was quite the adventure. Oh, the life of a librarian. By the way, the first WSU student to correctly identify the present name of that place I visited that was once known as Pile O' Bones in the comments area of this blog wins a prize.

Enjoy the summer,
Curt
