Textbook Arbitrage

Next week is our final week of class at SUNY-College at Old Westbury.  That means one thing: final exams are on their way!  For many students after they finish their exams, it's also an opportunity to sell textbooks for a little extra money over the holidays.  A while back, I came across an article on reselling books.  Apparently, it's possible to purchase books and resell them at a later date for quite a profit.  Some entrepreneurs have already done this and reported their experience to the media:

Having bought quite a few textbooks over the years, reading that article really jolted me.  That's the thing with ideas.  An entrepreneur can have a fantastic idea.  In fact, it's possible for two (or more) people to have the exact same idea at the same time.  Further, most anyone with internet access (free at the library!) can sell online.  To be fair, having a credit card, checking account, and PayPal can help facilitate the process.  Whether it's an idea to make a little extra holiday money or launch a new business, you are only limited by your imagination!
