Reference USA - A Business Database with Many Uses

Welcome back to another action-packed fall semester at SUNY Old Westbury.  Things are definitely busy in the library this week!

I wanted to highlight Reference USA.  The other day I used this database to look-up a company.  I wasn't getting the desired result with customer service up to that point.  Then I found a special corporate phone number that wasn't published on the company's web site via Reference USA, made a phone call, and five minutes later the problem was resolved.  Piece of cake!  While there is no guarantee that Reference USA will solve your problems, chances are the resource can help you get someone on the phone who can be of assistance.

Over the years, I've found Reference USA to be an invaluable resource for these sorts of things.  At SUNY Old Westbury, we have a subscription to this resource for students, faculty, and staff:

It's a fantastic resource and you don't have to be a business student to find pragmatic uses for the resource in your everyday life.
