Business Information Workshop - May 17 - Save the Date

On Thursday, May 17 at 9:30 a.m., I'll be giving a "Business Information: 2018" presentation for the Nassau County Library Association.  The presentation will take place at the Nassau Library System on 900 Jerusalem Avenue in Uniondale, NY.  Here's some information on the talk:

Ever get a question in the library about starting a business?  How about someone who is interested in becoming a first time homeowner and navigating the Long Island real estate market?  Or someone who wants to know more about making an informed purchase decision?  Or maybe you're interested in making the library a more welcoming space for the community you serve?  What resources are available that can best assist your clientele, customers, patrons, or whatever you call 'em?  Learn about library resources that can help grow your library by attending "Business Information: 2018".  This workshop is presented by Curt Friehs, a business librarian with 13 years of experience in field.

Workshop attendees will receive 2.5 hours of continuing education credit.
