Life Outside Libraries
There's more to life than blogging about travel and libraries. Lately, I've been helping a friend out with a wine store. Wow, is that a lot of fun and hard work! Earlier this month, we were in the papers:

Yes, there is more to life than libraries! It takes information skills to get appropriate permits and everything else that goes into getting a business up and running. Not every librarian has those skills... Or sometimes it's easier to talk about than to do something as ambitious as launching a startup. And there is a difference between a small business and a startup. Chosen Wine isn't doing what everyone else is doing which makes things all that much more interesting. I won't get into all the details. Both articles above do a much better job of explaining things. Journalists are incredible writers. Of course, having a good story helps too.
